I met with a "middle aged" client who had some unresolved memories and negative emotions about her first experience with love. She was abused and deeply wounded by the experience. She realized that she brought those memories into her current relationship and was having trouble regulating her emotions toward her new love!
What I did
I used some hypnotic language, NLP techniques and EFT to clear the negativity associated with that initial memory. At the end of just a few rounds of EFT (Emotional Freedom Tapping) she gasped, looked at me wide-eyed and said, "I want to stop, I have never felt this free before."
